Land needed in Hempnall for new affordable
housing Hempnall Parish Council is pleased to report that the Hastoe survey has proved the need for affordable housing in Hempnall and we now need to identify land that is available for development, be it of a size to fit a single dwelling or more. If you are an interested land owner or would simply like to suggest a site please contact the Clerk.

Caravans at Spring Wood off A planning application to site 4 caravans, 2 for residential use and 2 for ancillary use, at the above location was rejected by SNDC and this decision is now being appealed by the applicant. The applicant is also appealing against an enforcement notice to remove the caravans from the site. Hempnall Parish Council opposed the planning application as did Topcroft Parish Council and SNDC. We intend to propose that the appeals be rejected so that a precedent is not set for further development, be it more caravans or buildings, in this important sensitive environmental area. If you would like to support the rejection of the appeal please write NOW to The Planning Inspectorate, DETR, 3/04a Kite Wing, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6PN to reach them no later than 15 February 2004. It is important to quote both the following references in your letter : APP/L2360/A/03/1133682 and SW07/03/1670/F |
